Test Correction Form

Directions: For each question that you missed, you must make your corrections below. The entire section must be filled out and done correctly for you to earn points. You will earn FULL credit back to every question that you have missed as long as its completed and correct. You may use your science notebook, textbook, or online resources to help you find the correct answer. 

I want my students to understand the important concepts and TEKS before I move forward into the next unit. I believe that allowing students to research and fix their misconceptions on their test will help equip them. I am less focused on a grade than I am at seeing them grow as a learner. If they can prove to me that they know the answer and the reasoning behind it, I will be happy to give them their points back. 

Students have until Friday to complete their test corrections. They are responsible themselves for handing it into me. This week is geared more for Science intervention before we move forward. 

3rd Grade Field Trip Tomorrow!

Dear Chaperones,

Thank you so much for volunteering to attend our first third grade field trip! We are so glad that you will be coming with us. This field trip is all about maps and our community. We will be walking to downtown Grapevine to see all of the amazing things that Grapevine has to offer. Students will need to be taking pictures of interesting places along the way so that they can map them when we return to school.

What are your roles as a chaperone? Your most important job is to ensure the safety of the group of scholars that are with you. We also ask that you please bring a backpack so that you can carry the lunches of all of the scholars in your group. Finally, have fun!

Estimated Itinerary:

9:00 – Leave Cannon (We will cross College in front of Cannon)

9:15 – Stop in front of Nash Farms to take pictures

9:30 – Walk to Grapevine Historical Museums

10:00 – Attend 4 museums for 15 minutes each

11:00 – Walk around Main St. on your own

12:00 – Meet in the parking lot behind Willhoites to walk to the park

12:00-1:00 – Eat and play at the park

1:00 – Leave to return to Cannon
